Liverpool Exchange served the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway lines to Manchester Victoria, Southport, Preston and East Lancashire. It was closed in 1977 when the Merseyrail Electric lines were diverted via a new connection to Moorfields & Liverpool Central (Low Level).
